Inhaled Particles And International Particle Toxicology Conference

In 2026, two internationally renowned conferences, Inhaled Particles and International Particle Toxicology are coming together to disseminate current knowledge and understanding surrounding inhalation of all types of particles and fibres, and particle toxicology within and beyond the lungs. This collaborative conference will be held in Glasgow (UK) at the Marriott hotel, 11th-14th May 2026. The two conference strands will run in parallel with some joint sessions and all delegates will be free to attend any sessions of interest within the programme.

The Inhaled Particles Conference series is a long-standing conference of the British Occupational Hygiene Society bringing together a multi-disciplinary community of scientists who have the inhalation of all types of particles and fibres as their key research focus. First held in 1960, the 2026 conference is the 14th in the series.

The International Particle Toxicology Conference (IPTC) is a series of scientific meetings focused on particle toxicology, bringing together experts from various fields. The conference has been held since 1979, rotating between continents, and covers basic research and applications in workplace safety, environmental safety, consumer safety, and medical/diagnostic developments. The 2026 conference will be the 14th in the series.
